"Bottle None" Shampoo Bar Review
It was an exciting day in January when we received our first package of Bottle None Shampoo and Conditioner bars.
Our growing collection of hair washing options for all preferences and hair types is really, quite wonderful.
But as people noticed them, we kept getting the question “how do you like them?”
We gave Cris the job of trying it for a month to give some feedback. Here’s what she said about her experience with “Be Tame.”
“I have had more compliments on my hair this month than ever! I love how my hair feels, and how much less often it feels dirty. I find I can go an extra day without washing it now.”
We like the company’s philosophy: be MORE consume LESS
We like that the bars last 50 + washes and no plastic is involved. Each bar replaces 2-3 bottles of shampoo. If you max out on washes that's only $6 per bottle.
We like that their bars are PH balanced with natural ingredients. They are SLS, SCS and fragrance free. Yay!
NEW TO THE SHAMPOO BAR SCENE?
Store them somewhere with lots of airflow. If you choose to purchase the Bottle None case that’s made completely of recycled Canadian plastic, only use it for transport. If you use it to store them in the shower, the moisture will not allow the bars to experience their potential life span and effectiveness.
Conditioner troubles? Make sure you get the conditioner bar warm by rubbing hot water onto it before applying. Bottle None shares some tips on their website:
Tip for oily scalp: wash the roots twice, avoid the conditioner bar on the roots.
Tip for dry hair: towel dry after conditioning and rinse, then lightly massage the bar onto the ends and leave in.
