Healing Ginger Tea Recipe

Whether you want to stay as healthy as possible during cold & flu season, want to improve your digestion, or want one of the many other benefits of organic ginger, this tea recipe is a perfect thing to brew up tonight after dinner!

Ginger Tea Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup chopped chunks of organic ginger

  • 2 tbsps of raw unpasteurized honey

  • 3 tbsps of organic lemon juice

    Optional: you can also add in some fresh turmeric root for a flavourful and medicinal infusion

Directions:

  1. Chop the ginger root into small chunks, filling half a measuring cup. Alternatively you can chop the ginger. Either way, there’s no need to peel it or remove the roughage.

  2. Throw in a medium sized saucepan or pot and fill with clean water. The less water, the more potent it will become.

  3. Bring the pot to a boil, and let boil for 3-5 minutes.

  4. Bring to a simmer for 15-20 minutes.

  5. Stir in the honey and lemon juice, and strain the ginger chunks.

  6. You and your entire family can enjoy a power packed punch of ginger!
