There once was as man named Lou Segal from Cape Town, a pharmacist, who went on a safari. On his trip, hat he discovered a remedy for growing thicker fuller hair!

The people he saw in the region is visited had volumous and shiny hair, unlike the dry and brittle hair of those around him in South Africa. He learned that in preparation for tribal rituals, the community he observed actually applied a milky substance to their heads of hair, right into the scalp!

LOU HAD AN IDEA

The pharmacist had been looking for a solution to dandruff and hair loss for years!  So with the inspiration from his trip, Lou set out to create the perfect blend for haircare!

In 1985, he sold his first concoction to his customers, who soon noticed their dandruff disappear and new hair grow!

VANCOUVER

In 1983, Lou and his family moved to Vancouver, B.C, where he established International Cosmeticare in Richmond. Today, we are pleased to carry their line of Herbal Glo hair growth support shampoos and conditioners!
