COVID-19: Update March 20, 2020

Hello Southern Alberta Community!

We are overwhelmed with gratitude with the community support that we have received. Our first concern was being able to continue to employ our amazing staff. We are so grateful that we have been able to remain open and able to serve our community. Thank you for your support. We really appreciate the kind words, messages and notes we have received.

We are also very appreciative our your patience while we try to keep up with phone calls, emails, etc. We are short staffed and running as fast as we can :) That being said, we are shortening our hours tomorrow to give our hard working staff some time to sleep in and get some much deserved rest. We will return to normal hours on Monday. We will be closing at 5:30 p.m. next Thursday as well.

We normally would have Shop Local Saturday and Top Up Thursday Next week. There are our days where we give you a discount to show our appreciation for you supporting our little store. But, these days are very very busy and would not support Social Distancing. So, in replacement for these two events we are doing 10% off everything in the store all week next week, starting Monday. We figured stretching it out would prevent any extremely busy times and we also figured a little extra discount on your essentials would be welcome during these uncertain economic times. We encourage you to call in and arrange curbside pick up or delivery (which is free on orders over $50.) The 10% discount applies on all curbside pickups and deliveries all week as well.

At this point, we will continue to have our store front open but we will be limiting the number of shoppers in the store at a time. We request that you wash you hands in one of our sinks or use hand sanitizer once you are in the store. With the beautiful sun out, we will be trying to keep our door open as much as possible to prevent two extra surface touches.

We are not quite as zero waste as we would like right now, using disposable gloves for bulk service, but your safety and the safety of our staff is our number one concern.

We are still doing refills. We request that ALL bottles for refills are clean and dry. We will be spraying and wiping down bottles when they come in to the store.

We are doing curb-side refills. Please make sure you call ahead to let us know when you are coming. Please make sure bottles are clean and dry. Please have them labelled with what you would like in them. Payments will be made over the phone once they are rung in.

Thank you all again. We love our Southern Alberta community. We will all make it through this.
