Updated Refill Exchange Program

To ease curb-side refills and allow for delivery refills, we are starting a reusable mason jar program.
We have just installed a sterilizing dishwasher and are starting this program right away.

Here is how it will work:

• You will order your takeout, curb-side and delivery over the phone.
• We will fill your jars and have them ready for you
• There will be a deposit that you will pay for each jar
• You will bring home your order (or we will drop it off) and you will refill your own home containers
• You will wash and return the jars for your deposit the next time you come for refills. Or, we will pick up empty jars on your next delivery order
• We will wash and sanitize your returned jars and reuse them.

We have the following jar sizes available:

125 ml - 250ml - 500ml - 1 L - 2L

You can fill any of the refill items in our store with these jars except for Blue Door Balsamic Vinegar and Olive Oil. We have new Blue Door Oil and Vinegar bottles that we will fill if you would like to order those.

The only jars we will be using at this time are mason jars. There will be a $1 deposit on all sizes of jars except for the 2L size which is a $4 deposit. All deposits will be returned when the jar is returned.

This will be a trial run and will be a continual work in progress. We welcome your feedback and suggestions.

At this time, we are still allowing in-store refills but ONLY with clean and dry containers. We will spray containers coming into the store and we ask that you either wash you hands or use hand sanitizer at the till when you come in. Staff will do all refills in the store. We do not know how long we will be continuing this process; we may need to switch over to the mason jar exchange program completely during this pandemic.
